Impact Data From the Sunda Strait Tsunami: 429 People Killed, 1,015 Damaged Buildings

Jurnal Portal. Jakarta - The National Disaster Management Agency (BNPB) continues to collect data on the impact of the tsunami that occurred in the Sunda Strait last Sunday (23/12). A total of 429 people died and 16,082 were displaced.

The latest data on the impact of the Sunda Strait tsunami was conveyed by the Head of BNPB Data and Public Relations Center Sutopo Purwo Nugroho, Tuesday (12/25/2018). The following is the total tsunami impact data:


Victim:
- 429 people died
- 1,485 Injuries
- 154 Missing People
- 16,082 people were displaced

Damage:
- 882 The house unit was damaged
- 73 Lodging damaged
- 60 stalls damaged
- 434 The boat and ship are damaged
- 24 damaged 4-wheeled vehicles
- 41 damaged 2-wheeled vehicles
- 1 Pier is damaged
- 1 damaged shelter

Pandeglang

Victim:
- 290 people died
- 1,143 people injured
- 77 Missing Persons
- 14,395 people displaced

Damage:
- 443 housing units damaged
- 69 hotels damaged
- 350 Boats and ships damaged
- 24 damaged 4-wheeled vehicles
- 41 damaged 2-wheeled vehicles

Victim:
- 29 people died
- 62 Injuries
- 68 Missing People
- 83 people displaced

Damage:
- 40 units of houses damaged

Pesawaran

Victim:
- 1 person dies
- 1 person injured
- 231 people displaced

Damage:
- 53 Houses were severely damaged
- 82 The house is slightly damaged
- 14 boats damaged

South Lampung

Victim:
- 108 people died
- 279 people were injured
- 9 missing people
- 1,373 people were displaced

Damage:
- 302 Houses severely damaged
- 200 units of affected buildings

Tanggamus

Victim:
- 1 person dies

Damage:
- 4 Houses damaged
- 4 lodging damaged
- 70 boats broken
- 1 Pier is damaged
- 1 damaged shelter
