Minister of Social Affairs Ensures There Are No Cost Constraints for Assisting Tsunami Refugees

pojok warta. Pandeglang - Social Minister Agus Gumiwang Kartasasmita said that he prepared any budget for 14 days of the tsunami emergency response period at Pandeglang-Serang. Whatever the needs of refugees, the Ministry will provide.

"During the emergency response, we will provide whatever costs," Agus told reporters at Tanjung Lesung, Pandeglang, Banten, Wednesday (12/26/2018).

He said, during the 14-day emergency response period, all the needs of tsunami-affected residents would be met by the Ministry of Social Affairs. Today, the distribution of logistics assistance to remote areas is also confirmed to have been sent.



"All the points have been touched, some of which we touch directly and there is an independent kitchen. Equipment, side dishes, we support rice," he said.

In addition to logistics needs, what is important for citizens is that it is not easy to believe the false news about aftershocks. In order not to always be worried, all information about the development of disasters can be asked to government officials from the village to the local government.

"If not, ask the village head, sub-district head, regent, they must have the right answer," he said.
