Ministry of Home Affairs Will Prepare IDR 50 Million Assistance for Tsunami Affected Villages
fakta id. Jakarta - Ministry of Home Affairs (Ministry of Home Affairs) prepares a number of posts in locations affected by tsunamis and floods in Banten. The Ministry of Home Affairs will also provide assistance of Rp 50 million for each village affected by the disaster.
"(So far) 3 posts, then tomorrow Lampung will begin to follow. Then I will also check the posts tomorrow. At a minimum, our Tupoksi as directed by Mr. Jokowi, each ministry has their respective fields," said Minister of Home Affairs Tjahjo Kumolo in his office, Jalan Medan Merdeka Utara, Central Jakarta on Wednesday (12/26/2018).

"So that tomorrow we make sure that the government runs the road tomorrow, at least for the damaged villages we have prepared Rp. 50 million to immediately set up a posko, a village post. It can be done at the village apparatus house, we can build tents," he added.
According to Tjahjo, the Ministry of Home Affairs also made posts in remote sub-districts with the aim of helping the sub-district heads identify their citizens. The IPDN students in Cilandak said Tjahjo would also go down to help the victims of the disaster.
"Then our dukcapil team arrived with the police team in the area, at the hospital. Because there are still 20-30 people who have not yet been recorded. At a minimum, make sure he is a citizen, whose name is he, and so on," said Tjahjo.
Tjahjo also said that his party would coordinate the Civil Service Police Unit (Satpol PP) and firefighters (Damkar) under the Ministry of Home Affairs to go directly to the disaster site. The Ministry of Home Affairs also prepares assistance in the form of basic needs for refugees, such as biscuits, milk and snacks.

Previously, the tsunami hit the Pandeglang and Anyer areas to the coast of Lampung. To this day, 430 people died, 1,495 were injured, and 159 were declared missing. In addition, there were 21,991 people displaced by the incident on Saturday night (12/22).
The emergency response period for Pandeglang Regency is set to 4 January 2018. Meanwhile, for South Lampung it is set to 29 December 2018.
